What is Living History?

Have you ever wondered how ancient peoples lived? What was a favorite food of the Celts? What it feels like to wear maille armour? Why the ancient Irish feared the color red? Why the Gauls wore the torc? The weight of a real shield?

This is living history.

History is more than just dry dates, boring facts and dead languages. Gallico Belgae tries to recreate a living, breathing display.

The public not only can see what an ancient Gaul looked like, but can see how his clothes were made, what his/her personal ornaments were like, and hear how he or she may have thought and interacted with the world around them.
