How to Join Gallico Belage
Membership in Gallico Belgae has few limits---young and old, male and female are welcome. Not inclined to portray a warrior? You can portray a military-oriented noble, a skilled professional or artisan, or concentrate on domestic skills. Whatever your inclination---weaving, pottery, smithing, cooking, law, religion, music---all has a place in Gallico Belgae. Whatever you choose to research and present, you are free to do so. The main requirement is simply historical accuracy.
We currently have members from Ohio and Indiana, but new members from other locations are also welcome.
A small sample of "loaner" items may be available when a member first
joins. However, a new member is expected to purchase or construct
period-appropriate gear, to become a full member. Depending
upon one's status, this may only require correct clothes and
shoes. Research help will be provided for construction of gear.
And, as a group, we constantly seek to improve our own kit.
